About Us
Introduction
Shinheung Sec EU Kft. is the latest subsidiary of South Korean Shinheung Sec Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1979 as a family business. Since its establishment, our parent company has set up factories in South Korea, China and Malaysia.
Thanks to the strong business ties and positive partnership between Samsung SDI and Shinheung Sec, particularly in the production of battery components for electric vehicles, our company established its first European subsidiary in Monor in 2017. Shinheung Sec Eu Kft. plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of battery components for automotive electric vehicles.
Our first European and sixth worldwide factory was built in Monor in 2017 with a multi-billion-forint brownfield investment. We manufacture lithium-ion battery housings and safety locking units on production lines developed based on our own patents, using automatic laser welding technology, with nearly 2,000 employees.
